Introducing the Big Island’s newest Polynesian Feast

The Fairmont Orchid and Island Breeze Productions announce a partnership that combine the Big Island’s finest cuisine with it’s most spectacular Polynesian production.

Every Saturday, guests are invited to gather for an evening that begins under the stars dining on culinary treasures from Hawai’i, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa on the beautiful grounds of The Fairmont Orchid.

Using a fusion of both traditional Polynesian and modern dance choreography, the dancers of Island Breeze retell the story of the settlement of the Pacific. Displayed in its fullness is the mana (power) of the ali’i (chiefs) and how each would be forever linked to the one star that guided them...

• He Leo Heahea - welcome and greeting with a shell lei
• Na Mea Hana Lima - watch and learn some of the traditional arts & crafts
• Wa Pu 'ihi 'Ali'i - a torch lighting ceremony and the arrival of the Royal Court at the beachfront of Kamakahonu Bay
• Kalua 'Ana O K Pua'a - the uncovering of the imu, the traditional underground oven
• 'Aha'Aina - a sumptuous Hawaiian buffet prepared by the chef at King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel featuring local favorites such as fish, beef, fresh island produce and much more - all combined with an open bar
• Aloha 'Aina - the performers will captivate you as they celebrate their love for Hawaii and Polynesia. Highlighting the performance is the Siva Afi - the daring Fire Knife Dance
